Patrícia Gorriz is a Lisbon based jewellery designer and sculptor, born in 1981.
She studied drawing and painting and has a College Degree in Sculpture (Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa). Afterwards she studied jewellery at the Engenho e Arte - Escola de Joalharia Contemporânea (Porto) and has been working in this area ever since.
In 2009 she colaborated with portuguese fashion designer Ricardo Preto producing the Tiger Love jewellery collection, presented at ModaLisboa (Estoril, Lisboa), and in 2011 did an internship in Belgium with jewellery designer Mei Lee and sculptor Rob Thalen.
In 2013 she designed the liturgial objects and vestments for the Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes Church (Lisbon) as well as the Capela do Santíssimo's Crucifix.
Since 2010 she has been colaborating with Aldeias do Xisto (the Schist Villages Network, Portugal), a sustainable development project, creating pieces for the LAX stores, and also took part in the ÁGUAMUSA Craft+Design+Nature project (2012) and L4CRAFT – Local for Craft project (2014).
